Wow, this is one of my favorite wedding days to date. I teared up at least 5 times throughout this wedding weekend, which is saying a lot for me. Rachel and Lanier just perfectly exhibited their love for each other, their people, and the Lord throughout the entire weekend and it was beautiful to witness. The girls got ready at the stunning Illges House and it was the sweetest morning. The architectural detail of the architecture of the Illges House combined with the beauty of the girls made my job ridiculously easy. The boys hung out with my second shooter outside of St. Luke Church and had a blast! Lanier’s white tux contrasted so perfectly with his groomsmen’s black tuxes and they crushed it.
They had a beautiful ceremony inside of St. Luke and Lanier’s reaction when the doors opened and revealed Rachel for the first time was one I will never forget. Everyone was crying, from him to Rachel to their parents to the bridal party to me…it was just beautiful. We took some stunning couples portraits inside the church and then headed back to the Illges House for a perfect cocktail hour! I love when couples are able to join cocktail hour – it is one of my favorite parts of the day. We then celebrated all night with an epic live band, late night chicken and waffles, and a stunning bubble exit. It was the perfect day and I am so excited for the Dashers!
