This styled elopement truly brought all of my creative photography dreams to life. I had a vision of a modern, whimsical elopement in Savannah, and these amazing vendors and the amazing Hanna and Timi were so brilliant in helping me pull it off!! Hanna and I have been friends for years, so I was absolutely thrilled when she said that she and Timi would be able to model for me! My good friend Elizabeth made me the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen, and the wonderful team at The Sentimentalist Atlanta was so great in helping us put together Hanna’s bridal look.
We started the morning getting ready at an airstream AirBnb fifteen minutes outside of Savannah. Hanna put the finishing touches on her hair and makeup, and then we had to get some fun pictures of the two of them outside of the airstream! I am obsessed with the vintage, unique vibes of the airstream and they are some of my favorite photos from this styled elopement! We all hopped in the car and drove into the city to explore. Of course, we had to stop and pose along the famous pink Savannah Wall at the Olde Pink House – it is the iconic Savannah, Georgia look!! We explored around the city a little bit, with Hanna and Timi getting tons of “congratulations” from friendly people on the street! We stopped by the courthouse for them to actually “get married,” before heading to my favorite part of the morning – The Paris Market. When I stumbled across The Paris Market online, I knew instantly that we had to make it a part of our morning. It is the most beautiful coffee shop I have ever seen – totally European, totally unique and beautiful!! We ordered some coffee and pastries which were absolutely amazing. I love having my couples take Polaroids of each other to create some fun and unique moments for the two of them, so I had Hanna and Timi snap a few of each other! We finished our morning sipping coffee and laughing in front of the coffee shop – the end of a perfect elopement morning!!
I wanted to craft this styled shoot to replicate what a real elopement could look like as closely as possible – from getting ready to a small ceremony to just exploring somewhere beautiful to getting coffee or food! Your elopement should be all about the two of you – think about your favorite things to do together or a place that is really special to you when planning your elopement! Of course, I am here every step of the way to suggest fun activities to do, places to see, and memories to capture. I want your elopement to be relaxing, memorable, and allll about the two of you and the love you share.
