San Francisco is one of those cities that feels straight out of a movie, which made it the perfect place for this destination engagement session for Himani and Nathan. We started the afternoon at Ina Coolbrith Park in Russian Hill, a tucked-away gem with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline. It was the perfect spot to capture a few timeless portraits before heading into the heart of the city.
From there, wandered through the neighborhood streets to Himani and Nathan’s favorite local wine bar, where they shared a glass together while I photographed them in their element. On the way, we couldn’t resist photographing them alongside the famous San Francisco trolleys – a detail that makes this city feel so nostalgic and cinematic.
As the sun dipped lower, we headed out to the coast for an adventure along the Lands End Trail. Between the rocky cliffs, sweeping ocean views, and golden light, it was the perfect finale to a day that captured both the city’s energy and its wild coastline.
Sessions like this are why I love being a destination engagement photographer! Whether it’s San Francisco, the coast of Maine, or somewhere entirely new, I’m always ready to travel to tell your story in a place that feels meaningful to you. Enjoy some of my favorites from Himani and Nathan’s San Francisco engagement session!
